At 02h15 on the first day of 007, I got a rather nice text message:

"Out with the old, in with the new. Here's to 2007, bringing you health, wealth and happiness..." TLO

But for steamed dumplings; red wine and a little too much champagne I rather gingerly didn't want to let go of some of the old, so early into the new year.

Yet after some sleep and with a moderately subsided headache and a stomach that was engaged in the toilet, I did somehow manage to bring in the new.

Armed with that belief of never being scared to use up a good idea, I proceeded to register: "sowhatdoesthismean.com" which I hope to develop and will be for all of those people who love to engage (leave comments).

The idea is quite simple:

If you get an email, a text, or overhear something and you think that you know what it means but you aren't absolutely sure well then this site is there to assist you.

You log your sowhatdoesthismeanerism and other people get to comments, after a certain period of time all comments are collated into a few common options and then people get to exercise some democracy and vote for what they think it-meant.

The idea is still in it's infancy but if you have suggestions and/or expertise on how to nudge it forward and eventually into a beta phase please email me.

Other than that I am still officially on standby-leave and quietly trying exercise my way out of a slightly baggy set of holiday t-shirts. - don't you just know that feeling.
