the coffee got consumed post teeth brushing
I will frequently get emails which begin in big, bold, letters, no make that BIG, BOLD, RED WARNING letters stating: "IF YOU ARE NOT A 'SYSTEMS' USER READ NO FURTHER!"
Delete.
Well if you are not a morning coffee drinker, READ NO FURTHER, as this blog entry does not apply to you.
I generally start most mornings very slowly but I do have a routine which involves catching up on media, I will check CNN, ESPN, then mute the TV, select some music, get online to delete WARNING emails, but while the system boots up I will make a quick, double espresso - I am quite the morning multi tasker. I do my coffee prior to brushing my teeth and the flavour is predictable. But this morning, the sequencing got a bit muddled and the coffee got consumed post teeth brushing and the effect although not entirely new was different and somewhat pleasant, particularly as the coffee was almost cold.
Conclusion: warm coffee pre-brushing but cold coffee post-brushing both combinations appear to work.
So where is this banal observation going? Well, today I need to begin my lessons learnt document, I work in projects, so this is a key document. Invariably though these documents contain similar "pre-brush, post-brush coffee consumption" banalities, there's nothing voluptuous or colourful in the recommendations - better people, larger acceptance, better ownership, to little time, to little money - sack the project manager, okay that never makes it because I (like my kind -us -we) get to write it.
I WARNED YOU NOT to READ this but you couldn't help yourself, still I pronounce that one of the joys of life is a good, strong, coffee in the morning and yes there is place for a good cuppa tea in every day but nothing beats the fragrant smell, taste and sensation of a good, morning, coffee - it's basically the one sure thing that you can count on before you become entwined in the day's absurd realities.
