I have got a head full of bossa nova and absolutely no inclination to do anything other than discuss the state of my favourite football team in great depth.

The first line of Sympathique's chorus just about sums up what it's been like to be back at work. That line resonated in my head on Monday, repeated itself on Tuesday, three-peated on Wednesday, finally on Thursday I got it out and gave it a spin, and Friday it's repeat the repeat - over and out.

They are a great band, who have released two good albums.
